If not a pet rat, then anything (non human) who can keep me company. Too bad I have raging allergies that cancel out about half of my options, but I'm sure I'll find something. I feel as though I'm going to need a bit of company once I leave school and start a new life of my own.

I completely agree! Pets are the best...and even though it may be hard once they pass, all the memories that are made and the love they bring to you are more than worth it :)
